Make sure the mobile device is positioned correctly on the computer. NFC technology relies on close physical proximity for successful communication. Find where the NFC antenna is located on your computer and on your mobile device, often indicated by an NFC icon, and make sure that you are touching the device to the computer as close to that location as possible. Slowly move the device over the surface of the computer near where the NFC antenna is located, and listen for the sound that plays when the mobile device and computer are paired correctly. The erratic pointer behavior occurs after starting the computer and random windows begin opening and erratic pointer/cursor behavior last for 3-5 minutes then it stops. I cannot control the pointer during this time. My immediate impression was that this was very virus like behavior, surely a new computer with updated drivers would not act this way. I've updated all drivers and ran 3 different virus/malware scans (Avira, Malwarebytes, Microsoft live scanner) in the very unlikely event that somehow a virus was responsible. I've searched on various forums with many indications pointing to the Synaptic drivers and/or HP touchpad issues.
To bring it back I do 'scan for hardware changes', which works some times (some times gives error that device drive is already loaded with a yellow triangle, and I have to reboot in this situation) and then it goes away itself again. Even if it appears in my computer, my software/s (roxio dvd burner/HP dvd player etc except window dvd maker) still unable to detect the dvd drive. I cant seem to get it working flawless. Now as it doesnt work i have again loaded the backup.reg to have lower filter value back in the registry. I also tried removing and reinstalling dvd drive as well as IDE channels from devide manager. Can u help me here.

Annoyingly, I have run Who Crashed but no valid dump files were found. Looking at some of the logs, I noted that an application I use to provide virtual Web Camera crashed (Split Camera), which also show as giving an error previously, so I have removed this for now. WRT the CPU system clock speed, after the crash I looked in BIOS to see if there were any settings that might affect this. The only things that I could see that might be a cause were: • Advanced -> System options -> Turbo Boost (Enabled) • Advanced -> System options -> Turbo Boost on DC (Disabled) • Advanced -> Built in Device Options -> Boost Converter (Enabled) Just in case, I reset the BIOS setting to factory defaults but these setting were not affected. TBH Turbo Boost should be enabled by default, so this is OK (as it only allows for temporary increase in clock speed), although I have no idea what Boost Converter is.

If you try to use the APIs on a non-formatted NFC tags they won’t work (as WP8 lacks support for low level Tag Type specific commands/access) • If you want to NDEF format your tags you have the following options: when ordering tags request them to be NDEF formatted (or/and contain an empty NDEF message and the tag to be unlocked), use an NFC USB Reader/Writer HW for PC or use an Symbian/MeeGo/Android NFC device with an NFC writing app Sincerely, -- Justin Angel Principal Engineer for Windows Phone Developer Experience at Nokia. The code you posted is supposed to read messages from a NFC tag. Whereas Mifare is also used with NFC tags, that's where the similarity ends: it's with its own (proprietary) data format. So, this code isn't really wrong (nor is NFC on WP8 generally 'defective'), but if you expect it to read Mifare tags, this approach won't work for you. I don't know if it's possible to read Mifare tags with WP8: this depends on the hardware (as Mifare uses some non-ISO frames) as well as the API support. A quick Google search suggests that the Java SDK for older Nokia phones does support Mifare, so the hardware support may be there. Didn't find anything for WP8, though, so this will most likely require some extensive coding, if it works at all.

Again, the computer is. I have a Zbook 14, the 5500u with 16GB and 256GB PCIe drive. I haven't noticed any cursor problems; the disc feels very fast (I haven't benchmarked it but compared to my recent MacBooks the HP feels quick.) I have no feel for battery life yet, but I have heard that some HP software really eats the battery and it may be possible to adjust that.
